Areas of Expertise: Finite element analysis, structural
optimization, vibration, and structural dynamics.
Background: Dr. Wang has a broad experience in
industry. He was an engineer with RCA and Research Section Head
at Sperry Marine Systems during 1973-1981. Prior to joining UT Arlington,
he was a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical
and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia. Dr. Wang
has an extensive publication record in the general areas of solid
mechanics, vibration, structural analysis and design. Dr. Wang is
a member of AIAA and ASME.
