Background: Dr. Laksnarain received his Ph.D. from UT Arlington in Mechanical Engineering. He received his Masters and Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India. Dr. Laks has over 20 years of experience in Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics serving the industries as product development manager. He has co founded two startup companies and served as director of engineering delivering collaborative software products and has published in reputed journals in Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics.
Dr. Laks has an active interest in promoting Science and Engineering among high school studentsand has mentored several senior students to success in the Regional and International Science Fairs.
